Ptolus Times November 17th

A series of unexplained events happened in the old town today. Torus Pol, a half-orc who had just returned from the pawn shop on 7th street, suddenly burst into flame. "I started burning, and felt really strange and clumsy." The unfortunate Pol burned an innocent bystander before a Wizard named Damien Brightblade dispelled the effect on him. Before he could leave, however, the hapless half-orc was attacked by an unknown Barbarian. Torus has made a report to the city guards but in the chaos, the Barbarian was allowed to leave without detainment for questioning. The bystander was healed by a cleric known as Bemmut Neferul, apparently a recent returnee to Ptolus.

But that was not all. Richaul Kevenaugh , a draftsman with the city architect's guild started firing lightning bolts from his eyes. This left 3 folks on the street before Aeraina, a half-elven minstrel recently new to town, cautioned him to lie down and look up at the sky. At the same time, Shin Bastal levitated from her bakery cart up into the air. She was finally helped down by Aeraina and Damien.

The above group, along with Igbot, a gnome from the outlands, stopped a dark elf from escaping the scene through decapitation. The Drow was suspected to be the cause of these happenings, but he could not be questioned immediately. The city guards are in the process of requisitioning a speak with dead from the church of Lothian.

Unfortunately, there was a person who was overlooked: Tabean Farsong, an elf nobel from the forests to the north (who apparently had a minor reputation as a playboy) was taken from the scene blabbering nonsense about half an hour after the above-mentioned events. Apparently the events of the day were too much for his mind, and he was taken to an asylum where his recovery is awaited.
