Scandal in Church of Lothian!

Religious orders throughout the city are aghast when the Church of Lothian announced today that it's Church of St. Thessina in midtown, run by Heth Neferul, was used as a base of operations by a group of monsters known as the Pactlords.

Further investigation showed that:

1. No one in midtown actually knew anyone who attended services.
2. Neighbors regularly saw lights in the belfry after midnight
3. Heth Nefrul has turned away those looking for healings or other services, even those who had money for donations!
4. Strange noises have been heard from the chapel at night.
5. A creature with fur and tusklike teeth was seen around the church.

The Church of Lothian has promised to restore its branch at St. Thessina and resume services and other clerical duties there, as well as providing healing once more. There are rumors that Bemmut Neferul, the adopted son of Heth Neferul is being tapped for such duties. Whether this would go over well with any possible future congregation has yet to be seen.

One thing is for sure, whoever the church finds to replace Heth Neferul had better be clean as a whistle, as the Chapel at St. Thessina is likely to be under close scrutiny in the year ahead.
