Church of St. Thessina Raided, Pastor Missing

The Rivergate district was in an uproar this morning when Ferrik Noldstrom, a former card-sharp recently reformed by the pastor of the Chapel of St. Thessina (Bemmut Neferul) went into the Chapel for his morning services and found instead of peace and prayer, a slaugherhouse.

"Blood was all over the floor," said Ferrik, who looked shaken as he was interviewed. "Amongst the murdered: Jeffers Mallory, an understudy to Bemmut. Marta Gerrit, the chief of the lay community that sprang up around the church when it was reformed by Mr. Neferul.

Missing were: Bemmut Neferul, who only 6 months ago was given the charge of rebuilding the chapel by officials of the Church of Lothian to restore the name of Lothian in the Rivergate district after the shocking discovery that his father, Heth Neferul, was some agent of a mysterious cult and was using the Chapel of St. Thessina for nefarious operations of an unknown nature. Also missing included: Therrence Tehlonia, Rahman Terid, Kistrae Neverwind, and Cam Jaystone.

Church officials sent an investigator but the investigator refused to talk to anyone from this paper, and did not release any information as to whether any church artifacts or coffers were raided as part of this tragedy.

An anonymous source blamed Ferrik for the tragedy surrounding the Chapel. "Why Bemmut chose to reform that no-good year-end child I don't know --- it could only have brought nothing but tragedy, and now he and his congregation has paid for it. May The Lady watch over us."
