Myreth Kolantar rescued from his own store by adventures
A group of adventurers rescued Myreth Kolantar (see previous profile in the November 18th issue of Ptolus Times) from his own store as his own menagerie ran away from him and turned him to stone.
Rumor has it that one of his customers brought him an incorrectly identified animal, which got out of its cage and set the rest of his collection of magical beasts free, which led to mayhem in mid-town for a while. Fortunately, another set of his customers showed up and saved the day. A grateful Myreth rewarded them with an undisclosed amount. "I'm going to take the rest of the day to clean things up, but Myreth's Oddities will be open for business again tomorrow." He said.
Bone Devils attack temple district
A mysterious group of 8 Bone Devils (Osyluths) appeared last afternoon in the temple district out of apparently nowhere and attacked the Temple of St. Cuthbert. After slaughtering 2 dozen acolytes of the church and 43 bystanders, senior clerics in the church, together with paladin Sharah Nestor of the church of Lothian drove them away. It is not known where the Bone Devils came from or where they are going, but officials suspect that some evil cult in the Temple district is responsible.
